The three-floor family house located near Tábor (100 km southwards from Prague, Czech Republic).
Outer ground-plan: 10,80 m x 11,65 m = 125 m2. Total floor space: 3 x 90 m2.
(the ground floor is without any heating (garage, workshop, cellar, entrance hall,..)
The house was built from 2001 to 2003, house inspection: on Dec.31st 2003.
The calculated heat losses of the house: 12 234 W. The calculation of the heat losses was made for heated floor by the gas or electric furnace. The heating method was changed during the construction of the house due to sudden problems with house gas connection and the continuous rise in the prices of electricity. Used construction materials were not optimized for final used heating method.
Power consumption of warm water
Project of heat losses (for months)
Project of heat losses (for particular rooms)
Final used heating method: infra heating panels STROPTERM made by SAKUTUS s.r.o.
(for more see www.sakutus.cz ).
The installed input of STROPTERM infra panels in particular rooms were calculated according to the
former project of heat losses.
The temperature regulation: room thermostat in every room.
Electric supply rate: D45 (D45d), supplier : E.ON Czech Republic. Main circuit breaker: 3 x 32 A.
The costs for the first heating season ( from Nov.11th 2003 to Dec.2nd 2004)
amounted to CZK 30.014 = EUR 950 (average exchange rate for 2004 was 31,6 CZK/EUR)
The real consumption of the electric energy was 17,742 MWh in low tariff and 0,339 MWh in high tariff during the first year. We cannot distinguish between the real cost of heating and the cost of electric water heating and the cost of energy for other used electric appliances in the house (cooking, lightening, washing, ironing, freezing, watching TV, …).
The cost and consumption of the energy in following years you can see in following graph:
The last invoice and the energy consumption (from 2010) you can see in the next enclosure: Energy consumption invoice 2010 (icluding VAT)
The STROPTERM infra panels were installed in this family house in 2003. STROPTERM infra panels did not require any repairs, maintenance or paint renovation from that time till now (February 2009).
