Infra-red heating

           The infra-red heating panel produces waves of the sun energy spectrum without any harmful radiation. The infra-red heating warms up the walls, the ceiling, the floor and another objects placed in the room. The air in the room is sequentially warmed from these warm objects. Each room temperature could be regulated separately by the space thermostat.

Infra-red panel heating advantages:

- high thermal comfort (the same thermal comfort with the lower temperature in the room could be achieved in comparison with convective heating systems)
- lower energy costs in comparison with convective heating systems (minimal temperature differences between the floor and the ceiling (maximum 0,5 ºC difference was measured - see our installation example))
- infra-red waves do not throw up the dust
- more space in the room (infra-red heating is mounted on the ceiling or walls)
- minimal wasting of oxygen and air humidity in the room
- dehumidification of walls (no air humidity evaporates on the walls, ceiling)
- easy control of the energy consumption through space thermostats (every room could be heated in different temperature)
- very easy installation (each panel is fixed by two wall plugs)

Application:

         The infrared panels with build-in heating units NOMATERM (type 1) are intended to ceiling or vertical heating in flats, apartments, industrial or business spaces.

Description:

         The heating unit NOMATERM (type 1) is 3mm thick board square or rectangle shape protected from both sides by double insulation. The single heating unit NOMATERM is bendable. It is necessary to fix NOMATERM unit into frame (e.g. wooden or aluminium frames used for infra panels) or embed inside some solid material (e.g. epoxy resin used for thermo floor heating boards) (for more details www.sakutus.cz ). Back side of the panel is protected by the insulation material covered with the aluminum foil. The mounting kit is a component of every infra panel package.

Basic technical specification of the infrared panels made from NOMATERM units:

- heating unit NOMATERM was repeatedly certified by Czech Electrotechnical testing Institute (actual certificate Nr. 1091059, issued on Dec.28th 2009)
- the surface temperature of working area is up to 105°C (depending on the input of built-in NOMATERM unit)
- front working area of the infrared panel is finished by silicon sand for the increasing of emissivity and is white color painted (the sanded surface is also good protection against scorch on direct contact)
- infrared panels wattage depends on built-in NOMATERM unit and its working area dimension (10 W/dm2) : 80, 150, 200, 300, 400, 500, 650, 1000 W
- frame material : spruce wood (standard), oak wood (at extra cost), aluminum profile (natural anodized coating)
- wooden frame color : white, natural, natural painting (standard for spruce wood frames), transparent painting (standard for oak wood frames)
- insulation material : ROTAFLEX 20mm thick with aluminum foil (wooden frames), NOBASIL 15mm thick with aluminum foil (aluminum frames)
- basic ingress protection : IP 20 (according to type, higher IP at extra cost)
- voltage : 230 V - infra panels (wattage 300 W) with special wooden frames (design „K“) could be installed into cassette “Armstrong” ceiling
